Books of Elsewhere
Please consider including the New York Times bestselling series for young readers The Books of Elsewhere by Jacqueline West. It's about a strong female protagonist who is brave, insightful, and flawed in ways that are not stereotypical or girly. FULL DISCLOSURE: it's by my wife, who is all those things and more.

These books are perfect for Mighty Girls who love fantasy and magic! Olive, the heroine, shows incredible courage when she confronts the black magic made by Aldous McMartin, and is not afraid to also be compassionate, as she tries to help the lost little boy Morton. Coupled with the hilarious antics of three talking cats, this book enthralled my daughter so much that she bought the next three immediately. I know you're busy running the website, but these would be a great addition.

Our 5th grade mighty girls book club just read The Shadows and loved it! We were lucky enough to have Jacqueline come to our book club meeting and share about the story!
